In our latest release we've:
📊 Scheduled Polls
In our new polls you can now schedule your polls for all event types, so one less thing to think about.
🎥 Live Stream Captions
Captions are now available by default for your live streams. Simply stream to us like normal and we'll do the rest.
🗣️ Q&A reporting update
We've also listened to your feedback and added date/time information when a Q&A message was submitted to the download report.
This is in a format to provide the most compatibility with date operations in Excel, Apple Numbers and Google Sheets.
In our latest release we've done a number of updates:
📊 Freeze your poll results
In our new polls Studio Users can now close the poll which stops it accepting new answers from the audience
📆 Save the date
Presenter calendar invites have been updated to block out the time their calendar. We've also added this functionality to attendee confirmation emails
🗣️ Captions even more accessible
- Live and on-demand captions are defaulted to en-US rather than en-GB, which is more familiar to most viewers worldwide
- On-demand captions have been updated to support Gujarati and Tamil

📊 Our next generation of polls
Our new polling functionality is now available for live events on WorkCast auditoriums! Launch real-time polls with a live feed of responses for you and, optionally, your audience. Need something on the fly? You can now run ad-hoc polls too.
🔔 Never miss a message again
We've added Q&A Notifications (Sound + Flash):
- For simulive and on-demand events we've enabled sound notifications by default, you can decide to disable these by following the instructions in your Q&A pod
- For live events, you can enable this as an option on a per-session basis by following the instructions in your Q&A pod
- And for all events, you'll now see a flash when a new message comes in, making questions easier to follow

This is the page where attendees enter their email address to access an event and it's accessible to WCAG 2.2 AA

We're excited to announce that a new login experience is here! This update will make accessing your account simpler and smarter:
- 🔒 Single Sign-On (SSO): Users on eligible licences can log in seamlessly using their existing identity provider.
- ✅ “Remember Me” Option: Stay signed in on trusted devices for quicker access.
- 📱 Enhanced Two-Factor Authentication (2FA): Verification will now happen through your preferred authenticator app instead of email, offering a faster and more streamlined experience.
- 🗂️ Sub-Account Support: Enjoy the convenience of one login while maintaining clear data separation and management across sub-accounts.
Your Account Manager and Customer Success team will be in touch to help manage your migration and ensure a smooth transition.
This integration allows your CRM to be enhanced with attendee data collected through WorkCast, giving you a clearer view of how your contacts are engaging with your events. We don’t overwrite your existing data - we simply add valuable insights, such as which events your contacts have registered for and attended.
- All Events endpoints have been updated with clear indicators for if a Contact has attended your event, and even if they attended live
- You can now retrieve a list of contacts registered for a particular event directly
- You can also search for a particular Contact against a particular event
- We've also updated all the Session endpoints to provide the thumbnail image and media URL attached to it. Media URLs are available for Simulive and on-demand events

To improve compatibility with custom backgrounds, we have standardizing the camera view in Interactive (tile view) to a 16:9 aspect ratio.
